Two new things that I like a lot!

There are many times that I have found a new song, a new hair product, a new (I can't think of anything else at the moment) that I just love. Upon my new discovery, I listen to the song over and over as I am styling my hair with my new hair product. (Ok I don't think I have ever discovered those two things at the same time and combined them together I was just making a joke.)

But my point is when you find a new song that you like, I would guess that you listen to it over and over and over and can't get enough of it. . .(now do you see my connection with the hair product/song joke?. . . Never mind!)

I feel that whenever someone discovers something amazing and they are telling other people about it they always say "I am obsessed with this!" Although sometimes in my dramatic personality (I took a personality test once and ranked high in the dramatic category which I am sure is not a surprise to anyone who reads this blog) I may say that I am obsessed with something but perhaps I shouldn't say that because here is what obsessed means: (according to my Mac corners dictionary) "Preoccupy or fill the mind of (someone) continually, intrusively, and to a troubling extent."

So here are the two new things in life that I like a lot. (Notice how I did not say obsessed with).

Don't you think they go hand in hand really well! Running shoes and cookies!

Ok Let me just explain these shoes. If any of the following 3 things describe you then I suggest that you buy these shoes:

1. You like to run/walk
2. You hate to run/walk
3. You have feet

TRUST ME these shoes are amazing. They come in a variety of different colors for male and female persons. (I'm sorry for any of you hermaphrodite readers out there I did not mean to not exclude you!)

Anyway, they are made by sketchers and are called go run. I know I know, before you judge me and say who would buy running shoes from sketchers? They are the ones who invented shape-up's and I am not supporting a company who does that! Trust me, I felt the same way until I slipped my foot into these shoes.

I am the type of person when I go to the store to buy new running shoes that the store clerks hate! I pretty much pull out every box, try on every shoe, literally run up and down the isles of the store trying to figure out which shoe suits my needs the best. It's a huge mess and they ALWAYS glare at me! BUT I am also the person that puts everything back were I found it so I don't think they are so mad at me when I am done. I normally find a running shoe that I think is OK but I'm not "obsessed" with. But these shoes are different! Annie and I found them when we were in Vegas. Once we won our gambling money (once again do not judge) we knew what we were going to buy and I have not regretted it since. Although later my sister told me in a sarcastic tone (something to the effect of) "I hope you don't happen to trip and fall when you are wearing your shoes that you bought with your gambling money" I know she meant it out of love and so I responded (in a sassy tone) "Oh I won't! And I won't let you borrow them even though you will want to!" (I promise I would let her if she wanted to test them out!)

I like to run, but I like to run even MORE now because of these shoes! You know the guy in Reading Rainbow?
At the end of the show he has children talk about books that they have read and at the end they say "But you don't have to take my word for it!" This is what I am saying to you! Just picture me as a black guy with facial hair (actually don't!) You don't have to take my word for it, go find these shoes wherever they are sold near you and try them on! You won't be able to resist!

OK second thing. . . those cookies! Don't worry I won't go on and on about how good they are. Some of the people that I have shared the goodness with have just said, "Aren't these the same as grasshopper cookies?" Well perhaps maybe they are to some, but I think they are even better! But once again, you don't have to take my word for it! But I promise they are really really really good!
